Where are you from?

  • Nazlini, Arizona

What university do you attend?

  • Northern Arizona University

What is your major and why are you interested studying/working in your field of study?

  • Civil Engineering, because I believe infrastructure development is one of the key areas I felt I could contribute to my home, the Navajo Nation.

What kind of work would you like to do in the future?

  • I want to be working on helping tribal nations who have the means to develop their infrastructure to do so and at some point I would like to teach part-time in engineering design.

What other plans do you have for the future?

  • I would like to visit somewhere outside the county as I have never been outside the US. Maybe somewhere in Europe or even Mexico.

Do you have any hidden talents you would like to tell us about?

  • After giving much thought, I don’t think I have any hidden talents. I had kids at a young age, so my life has been devoted to work, school and spending time with my kids and all their talents like doing ballet with my daughter.
