Frye s responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of CIRI research projects. As such, Frye is responsible for providing oversight, coordination, and management of research projects from an administrative, operational, financial, and contractual standpoint. In this capacity, Frye serves as a liaison between project Principal Investigators and researchers and research sponsors and stakeholders.  Among other tasks, Frye monitors project progress against task, milestone, and deliverables schedules; monitors and reports project financial status; drafts and delivers reports to DHS; facilitates communications to project stakeholders; and organizes research team participation in DHS-sponsored workshops and conferences. 

Before working at ITI, Frye served in the US Air Force as an MSC Officer. She later worked as a Project Manager for Human Kinetics Publishing, and Quality Control Coordinator for the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She has an MBA from the University of Illinois Springfield.
