Valeria Duffoo
Duffoo is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of CIRI research projects, including coordination from an administrative, operational, financial, and contractual standpoint. In this role, Duffoo monitors project progress against task, milestone, and deliverables schedules; facilitates communications to project stakeholders; and organizes research team participation in DHS-sponsored workshops and conferences. Duffoo also manages and supports the technology transition of various products and technologies developed at CIRI to facilitate their adoption and use by government entities and critical infrastructure owners and operators in the US and internationally.
Prior to joining CIRI, Duffoo served as an Associate at Baker McKenzie, focusing on infrastructure projects, real estate, and public-private partnerships. She has collaborated with regulatory entities in Peru and contributed to initiatives with APEC and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on digital transformation and economic development. Valeria also participated in the Graduate Research Innovation Program at the National University of Singapore (NUS), demonstrating her dedication to advancing innovative and impactful solutions.
Duffoo holds a Bachelor of Laws, graduating cum laude from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and a Master of Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS, where she specialized in Economic Development and was awarded a full scholarship by the Lee Foundation.
