Project Overview

This project will use a case study approach to examine the economic impact of natural disasters on selected communities and their business environments. A community’s ability to withstand and recover rapidly from a natural disaster is a function of several variables, which together form a resiliency profile. The study will explore community investments in natural disaster resiliency, expenditure of federal disaster funds, and their return on investment.
